Christmas/Anniversary/Baby Blessing

Holy!! What a busy time of the year. It's especially special for Jeff and I because we just celebrated our first anniversary on the 27th! AND! We blessed Boston yesterday. Something way cool happened yesterday--Elder Holland is in Jeff's home ward (where we blessed Boston) and Jeff had brought up to Elder Holland that we were blessing Boston that day and he was more than welcome to join in! When the time came for Jeff to bless Boston, he got up and joined the circle!! Jeff later said he was nervous just to give the blessing, but even MORE nervous that an Apostle was in the circle! It was super cool. We will forever remember that! Christmas was great--we opened presents in the morning out our house,  then off to families during the day!

Our little family--I love this picture!

Our first anniversary!! We went to Tucanos while Jeff's parent's watched our little guy. It was way fun to just spend time with Jeff. Here is to eternity!

Spokane Before Christmas

Last night I got home from visiting Spokane-what a fun trip! Boston and I flew out last Thursday (Boston was a GREAT flier fyi) and returned home last night. My oldest sister came from Virigina with her fiance, and also my cousin was getting married so all my family around Washington area came in. It was so fun because I never get to see my oldest sister until July, and I went to a beautiful sealing! Not to mention, so many people got to meet Boston! It was so great. These are my sisters-yes, I'm the only blonde (But my hair is as dark as my sisters :)

Please Note: The picture below is NOT a good one! It's such a funny picture. There are good ones but this was the best looking one. Almost everyone's faces are goofy in some way- either looking down, not smiling, half smiling, and just weird faces. But this is my family! The whole family isn't here, just step family!

Christmas is coming so fast!! Hope everyone is enjoying family like I am! Can't believe it's almost 2010!!

Family Christmas Pictures

We took Boston to get pictures done when he was 2 1/2 weeks old! Our photographer did a wonderful job. We got these pictures done to not only just have them, but also for Christmas cards! The ones we are using for the cards are not on here because we want that to be a surprise! Boston was a good sport, although he did not like being in just a onesie! We had to calm him down in between pictures, but they turned out great!

He loves being cuddled up next to mom, always calms him down!

I can't believe he could easily fit into a stocking!

First family picture!

I love pictures of Boston and Jeff

2 Weeks!

Our little Boston is so funny. I just think he is the greatest! I don't have to take him in to get his little heel pricked anymore because his jaundice levels are okay now, I probably went in like eight times--so irritating! His poor heel probably will be scared forever. He is getting to be a good eater--still working with him on it, but I'm sure he will catch on soon enough. He (like every other baby) has his days and nights mixed up. Although he sleeps a ton--he is more awake at night than during the day! I try my hardest to keep him awake by playing with his heels, arms, cheeks, etc. but it just doesn't work! Once he is a little older I am determined to get him on a better sleeping schedule! He hates getting his diaper changed, he screams everytime we do it. I don't think he is too impressed with taking a bath--I don't think he knows what to make of it yet. He is so cute when he studies Jeff and my face, I think he understands that we play an important role in his life! He loves his carseat! That's our little Boston! He is just a bundle of joy! This picture is so funny to me. If you look close enough you can see how fuzzy his hair is!

Home from the Hospital

Well, we have been home from the hospital for about a week, and life is so different! (in a good way!) Boston is the sweetest thing to have around. He has a little bit of jaundice so we have had to keep him in a tanning bed (I swear it looks like one) when I'm not feeding or changing him, it's such a pain. I just want to hold him and actually put clothes on him--he can only wear a diaper when in the tanning bed. Anyway, we are hoping today is the last day he has to be in it! When we took him home from the hospital Jeff insisted he comes home in Jordan gear, so some of the pictures below are what he looked like when we took him home. Hope you all had a great thanksgiving!

Ward Baby Shower

My ward gave me a baby shower last night--how sweet of them! I had a wonderful time. To tell ya the truth, I was sooo nervous because I thought nobody would come! That was because once Jeff and I moved into the ward I was called into the Primary! So I didn't have the chance to meet that many girls! But needless to say, I was surprised at the turn out! Thanks girls!!We took this picture after a couple girls left--so sorry!!
My friend, Becca, made me the coolest diaper cake! It was so thoughtful.

Also! Two other girlfriends got me the vibrating chair--I wanted one of these really bad and soo excited when I got it! I also got baby blankets, baby books, clothes, spit-up rags (really cute ones), lotions/soap, bath towel and I think I got it all! I had a great time and am soo happy that these girls put this on! Oh ya--the food was really good too!
